Useful PlacesThis is a list of places on the web where you can find both graphics software and help in using it. This will be a work in progress, I will add to it as time goes on. Software:Photoshop - Adobe's flagship product and used by most professionals Apophysis - A graphical user interface for designing flame fractals using Scott Drave's original code. Developed in the first instance by Mark Townsend and now continued asa collaboration with the code available at sourceforge. BUZZ is a very useful PS compatible plugin which simplifies an image rendering it more like a painting. Can be used on its own or as part of the manipulation. A try out version is available on their website and the lite version can sometimes be found on magazine cover CD's. Books I have Found Useful:Books I have read and found inspiring with links to Amazon if you decide to buy. Find details here. Useful Sites:RetouchPro - a very interesting site well worth a visit or two. Has tutorial, links to other tutorials and a thriving community with weekly challenges. DPReview is a very busy site devoted to digital photography but also has a very helpful manipulation forum. Photography-Cafe - one of the friendliest photography sites I have found.
